Basic services, shops, and restaurants are available in Jablonec nad Jizerou (5 km) or Jilemnice (11 km), which provides full urban amenities including a medical center, schools, and cultural facilities. The surrounding area features a dense network of hiking and cycling trails leading to the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains. The ski resort in Rokytnice nad Jizerou is reachable within 20 minutes, while cross-country skiers will appreciate the nearby trails connected to the Krkonoše Magistrala. Travel time by car from Prague city center is within 2 hours, with most of the route via the D10 motorway.
